Okay so the obvious culprit would be (according to me at least) the ML, but what are the chances that it was actually the empress? Cuz sis is the most salty one out here over the "betrayal for the MC's dad" or whatever.
Or (lemme go out on a very long limb here) Cailanden? Like the dude has a very negligible character so far so this'd be a good twist. Like maybe he didn't process what he was doing or he killed the kid by accident idk
