I think that even though her mental age is supposedly 30 she acts a little bit like a child because her physical brain is still developing. He mental age and her body's real age are somewhat in a conflict and are making her act like a child and like an adult. That's what I think anyway. Though she could just be happy about having things to cuddle with.
