It shows Mey Rin's backstory, but there's no suggestion that she was hired only recently. All of the servants have been in place for approximately 3 years. That's what I got from the story. She's been in every arc, so she couldn't be a recent hire. I don't see the inconsistency you refer to. Am I wrong about this?

I re watched some OVAs and saw book of murder, I noticed an inconsistency since it said there that they were all hired at the same time but the recent chapters is different.
