More than for the situations he puts himself in I pity him for the REASON he does that... to me he has the capacities to obtain what he wants without doing all of that
Maybe he does, but when u find something that works in getting what you want its really hard to not use it. I mean the psychological process is far more complicated. And this are all assumptions. Maybe he enjoys what he does and last chapter was just an unpleasant experience. This story plays a lot with the our conceptions of morality and sexuality.
I heard abt the spoilers and ill say. The president is using people for sex. But he isnt tricking them. The sex is consensual,they benefit and they know the rules. He cuts them off if they cross a line and he is literally selling himself to get to a higher place. Losing all that would be unfair. I dont think he is cruel.
