I don't think you can assert that he knew where he was or was conscious enough to consent. It's difficult because it's a story, but I do community education on sexual assault, and given the fact that he literally could not walk, determine that he was home until he saw/heard Yohan, and didn't respond to prompts but instead just kept repeating "my butt hurts" would suggest to me that he could not consent to sex. While I agree they love each other and to a degree have a form of pre-consent for situations like this, and while Soowha comes to and isn't upset with the situation, nor was it as violent as is portrayed in other BL stories. At the end of the day, legally speaking for a majority of places, this is sexual assault aka rape.
This also wouldn't be the first time that they have assaulted each other while the other is unconscious in this comic alone. They literally assault each other without consent all the time.
Yeah that’s the part which is not logical to me and that’s why I at least think that the authors intention was to show a very drunk soowha at the beginning (when he was carried home) and when they sleep together he’s sobered up to an extent in which he was able to do all the things I’ve said about and also give consent. Since you can’t take a situation before as a time to give consent, but the time when they have sex. I know it’s definitely not realistic to sober up this quickly in real life. But this manga isn’t realistic in a lot of ways and I honestly believe that the author didn’t want to make it into one of these “punishing the partner rape” stories. Like I said I think it’s a gray area and soowha actively consented when yohan stopped to wait for him to say: continue or stop.
But I do absolutely agree and like I said, this manga or any bl really shouldn’t be taken a guide for any relationship or being made into an example for how it’s supposed to be (apart from the very few that actually are 0,00% problematic). I also agree that this scene they had, could be potentially considered as rape. If you change just a few „little“ things in this situation we could have had another „Dakaretai Otoko Ichii Ni Odosarete Imasu“ chapter 25. I’m still raging about that one chapter.
But yeah here with soowha and yohan I would say it’s a gray area which honestly could And should have been avoided, but i don’t think it’s rape. It could have been if some factors were different.
sorry I’ve yet to read the whole story :! But honestly this isn’t the story that is intended to be without consent in the sex. There are these couple that have these kind of set rules for i guess situations like that, which is are then verified again when actually being in this situation. That still doesn’t mean real life is like that or other mangas with scenes like that, are like that - this is all individual and obviously can’t be assumed for everything and everyone

Soowha was drunk, couldn’t walk but he sobered up. Maybe not portrayed realistically but thats the authors fault. He was in a state in which he could identify where he was, with whom he was and what he was doing. Soowha was able to decide. He ACTIVELY choose to say: don’t stop and let’s continue. So I don’t understand why people think, he can’t be reliable for his actions. We didn’t get any indication whatsoever of him not being able to consent because he’s completely out of it/ not awake and we also didn’t see him struggling to get away in any kind of way (physically/mentally/verbally). Like what more do you want. I get you don’t think this ideal and I agree it’s not. PEOPLE SHOULDNT JUST COPY THIS BEHAVIOR! (For me it’s self explanatory but for safety reasons, I have to say this). In this specific couple in this manga, this is okay. This is a couple, that is having a healthy and loving relationship. Both of them like having sex with each other. They are horny af, which isn’t realistic either but yaoi logic. In fact they wanted to have it that day. Soowha was able to actively say, he’s doesn’t want to stop and yohan stopped and waited to continue after being told that he should continue. Yeah his reasons “for punishing” was also not appealing for me either. But I think the author honestly didn’t want to portray it that way. Would kinda be atypical for this couple.
There are couples that do have drunk actions like that and for real life purposes you need to clear things up with your partner and don’t just assume it. Because yes taking advantage over someone thats out of it, is a thing and that should be avoided at all cost
