^ +1 on that.... Most of the time, the people you like don't like you back the same way, and you don't feel the same way about the people who like you. So, a lot of times, one person makes the first move, and the other person has to give the relationship a shot and hope that they also develop the same kind of feeling. It's very rare for 2 people to be in love with each other at the same time before they even get into a relationship.
this is just what i feel but, i dont like the notion that if you like someone and they unexpectedly like you back, you treat as some sort of 'miracle' like i get that he means it in they way that since he is gay he didnt expect his feeling to be reciprocated but in my opinion if you put the other person feeling much higher than yours you are entering the relationship in a not equal footing bcs of how much you treasure his feelings towards... huh idk i just dont understand the reasoning
