The don't have the drunk lan zhan when he say "mine" to wai ying or when the drunk lan zhan play tag with wai ying.... Also when wai ying kiss lan zhan in his drunken state.....

I was pretty skeptical when I watched it (cuz china etc) but the chemistry between them is amazing lol I mean srsly it was sooooooooooooooooooooo gay and I loved it. There's nothing super obvious but they are always staring longingly into each other's eyes, touching each other, super preoccupied with each other. Oh and they are totally together at the end like in unnecessary drama Lan Zhan and WuXian part ways then WuXian plays their freakn love song and Lan Zhan comes back and calls his name. The show ends with WuXian shocked then turning around and smiling this like beautiful smile when he sees lan zhan again. <3 I was like T____T ma heart rofl

Homosexuality is illegal there so they had to cut all of the romance scenes and especially adult scenes before making it. That's why idk of i want to watch lol if they made it into just bromance... i heard it was really good so I might try it...just the kiss scenes were my fav in the novel (and the sex lmao)

And I'd recommend the drama, it's definitely different but better than expected. Lan Zhan and Wei Ying are like exactly as I imagined them and I rly enjoyed their passionate stares X....D

At the end of the day I think all the different mediums did the best they could within the restrictions. I can see their romance in every version I read/watch/listen to so I'm totally satisfied rofl. I mean in the drama lan zhan stares at wei ying like a love sick puppy the.entire.time ^.~

I think the manhwa is like ch 47 of the novel but the manhwa runs faster and omits a lot of the details. I'd read it from the beginning honestly. Ngl it's prolly the best book I've ever read
