Its funny that looks like she was liyng to herself that she wanted power just to defeat the Demon King, but she really just wanted revenge to those who make her suffer and die. And Claude began liyng to himself too, he didn't wanted a greater good, but his selfish desire was for a loved one.
Did he gain a different power or something? I thought she was acknowledged or something by the pillar. But the looks of it, it's safe to assume, he got some kinda power instead of her?
