If you are underage and not yet able to separate fiction from reality, you should absolutely not be reading MATURE context with MATURE themes.
Here is a fact: Yaoi is not for kids
Children are not supposed to be reading sex related mangas, they are not supposed to have access to the adult world where the most random fantasies are given life, but unfortunately they do and that’s not the author or the adult readers fault so we can pass without the clown who reads Yaoi, a category filled with the most random, and vicious type of abuse, themes like rape, obsession, spanking, insults, manipulation... spamming how they are romanticizing rape because they write in a way that the reader wouldn’t have trouble to switch places with the characters while fantasizing.
because I cannot be the only person that while reading ANY also imagines what I would do if I was with the hot rich CEO that is a god in bed etc... is a normal thing to do while reading, damn it happens in dreams too, when it’s like you are suddenly inside them and even tho you it has the other person face or wtv.
If there’s anyone here who would ever think that this is the ideal relationship because of the way it is portrayed, then they shouldn’t be here, this person is also not prepared or is fitted to read ANY type of fiction, they shouldn’t be here, just like people who get bothered by it shouldn’t either.
This isn’t being pushed to anyone as ideal, is fiction, is an idea that came from someone brain that found other people who enjoy it.
I get making statements like “Please don’t forget this is only fiction and should not be the type of relationship you should search for irl, because this relationship is filled of abuse etc..” because some people may need a reminder, it’s cool, a good deed
Other thing is to fill the comment sections of various Yaoi mangas, with their unwanted opinion on other people taste in fiction, SPECIALLY when it’s written on the sipnose that this story deals with obsession and degenerate personality.
Y’all should be reading shounen aí, it’s the best place to go for fluffy and heartwarming content.
