In the absence of an heir it was passed down to the widow. Unless the husband wrote a will giving up the property to somebody else. Her shitty husband seems to have no family left so I think she'd get everything.

Isaac should kill the husband so that Giselle can inherit his assets. That's what she deserves ater being beaten and raped for years, no need to run away and struggle in poverty. Then she could sell the house and leave with Isaac. They could live somewhere on the outskirts of a city where it's less populated so that people don't get suspicious about them. And whenever they want to have a night out, Isaac could use his power to take them to the city within minutes, go to places where no one would recognize them but they'd still have fun.
