People need to understand that reading manga is a luxury not a necessity and if you can’t afford you don’t have to read it, it’s not essential. So if you do decide to read it for free on sites like this you just keep quiet keep any thoughts about the author to yourself and read in peace. Exactly. Piracy is like fast fashion.. It’s wrong on every level but it happens and there’s no way to get around it. If you’re poor them you’re going to read manhuas on pirated websites but you shouldn’t blame the author for wanting to halt her works. Its a really tough situation and I sympathize with the authors :// I wish there was a better way.
I know this sounds kind of dumb since I am on this site but I do purchase this author’s work on Lezhin but I admit I do not purchase all the mangas I read. We should at least understand their point of view. This is the author’s job and they are also impacted by this pandemic. They may be having trouble making ends meet too and are technically having possible income stolen from them. It is like someone coming in your house and stealing money from your wallet then trying to justify it by saying they are having a hard time and you should be sympathetic. It is still theft. Just admit it and stop trying to justify the theft. I am not trying to sound like I am judging. I just get a bit irritated with people trying to shift blame to the author. If you are stealing, you are stealing, this is a want not a need. If you are stealing just admit it and move on and stop trying to justify it.
