When Claude killing Athanacius he maybe using black magic.

The punishment wasn't transfer or what, Claude really did used black magic before, as Lucas said, before he left, most of it was gone already. I think the magic that Anastacius put in the ribbon was for Athanasia's magic to react and be absorbed back to her body, and then the rest was as Lucas explained. Also, I think Claude used black magic before because he was trying to revive Diana or something related to Diana's death

I considered your theory but to me,,, both of them using black magic seems off idk bc he's the emperor and all..

I read on a spoiler thread that Claude used black magic to erase memories of Diana when she died, which explains why he talked a lot about almost completely forgetting about her until athy came around

The Athy on the book and the Athy now are actually the same person. The Athy that was killed was her first life hehe, Lucas confimed it on chapter 70

he refers to her prev lives as times and if her first time is what you're referring to i get that now but the only hint i get is the hanging thread (?) so was she hanged? from what i remember she was meant to await trial but claude himself killed? her... and she had no/didn't use magic bc she hadn't met Lucas and therefore didn't know she could or sth?

Yes, yes, she was hanged, I also rechecked it in chapter 3, her trial was not yet finish but Claude decided to proceed in executing/hanging her without proper evidences. And we have the same theory of why she was not able to use magic before, also, the people from the palace doesn't really give her proper attention before so maybe that's also why she never learned that she can utilize her magic
