I'm pretty sure it's because the people in the empire live l ok nger cause of the light magic stuff there so she doesnt want to go since shes no longer a part of the empire. Also she won't live as long as all her friends from the empire
This one doesn't make sense because she actively goes on patrol to take care of those targeting the Emperor's life and also iirc she was trying to train or fight or something before her family stopped her.
actually if i remember correctly at some point they say if she'd go to the empire she'd live longer like them so i don't think that's the reason, but i'm also confused as to why she says she can't go there
