I read the spoiler, and he did marries that Mia girl because the church told him so. But after some story there and here, he know his feeling better than anyone about how he love Serena so much and want her and he be like buzz off the rules- he want serena so nothing will stop him as an emperor, then he did end up together with her for real.
The sad thing is even though Serena being so kind toward Mia, Mia is such a bitch, knowing that she hold such great power she used that fact to get the prince attention and pursuing a married man and always harassing Selena.
Welp how do you guys think that Mia know that she is a saint from prophecy? Obviously from emperor younger brother. He told Mia about the prophecy things and said that the empress position should be her not Serena. (So he can have Serena himself)
It frustrated me knowing that bitch will get her own happy ending with that green haired boy.

No the paul is not a bad guy but as for what i read from someone comment, he seem to be the guy that helped Serena when she suffered . (But the commenter said that she only done simple translation so she's not certain yet)
