The fake one? Yes, probably. But if you are talking about the real one, then no. She said so herself, that the more Lerajie wears that necklace, the more the prince (or is it king already?) will ditrust her. After all, Ginger said that Lerajie gossiped about his powers, which makes her suspicious. On top of that, he can't read her thougths, so he can't confirm what Ginger told him, and it also makes her even more suspicious - after all, why would she need to hide her thougths, if she has nothing to hide from him?

So, it is beneficial for Ginger if Lerajie keeps on wearing that necklace.

exactly why im confused towards his mind reading power. like he can only read ginger's fangirling and all but never about the novel, story, necklace etc that ginger is also thinking about. and the prnce said he can hear their mind whenever e wants and he can also hear them if he doesn't want to... im sooooooo confused

Tbh, all good points. He does imply that he chooses when to read someone's mind, yet he acts like he heard Ginger's fangirling against his will. Also, I have no idea what is going on with not hearing what she thinks about the novel. Maybe he can't hear what's written in the square boxes, because it's a narrative for readers' sake, but not what she is thinking in words at the time? However, sometimes the boxes have her current feelings/thoughts in them, when she reacts in real time, so it's hard to say. In any case, I think it's safe to assume, that he can't read those.
