But... is this guy stupid? Caine said he has an injury; his heart was hit with the holly weapon. So obviously the more that injury remains untreated, the less demonic he will be.

What about Sid? I half think he has a parasite that has become one with him but it definitely not him. That creepy eyeball, teeth creature that comes out of his left cheek... I feel like it's corrupting him a bit.
