So she actually did take drugs?? But even if she did, she's still human as well. Even though it wasn't the right way to cope; but the fastest, in the end it was still the public that drove her to that state and they're criticizing her for that? Just, wow.

Countries like Korea and Japan go hard against any drug taking, and any celebrity found to have been taking drugs typically have to do a public apology at the very least if not straight up ruining their entire career for life (People like Big Bang are extremely rare that manage to get past countless scandals and still be ridiculously popular). Netizens give some hell from what I've seen because their idols aren't supposed to do anything wrong, including taking drugs (and as the comment below states, even prescription drugs can be seen as bad). It's different in America where there are countless celebs who live debauched lives and people live for the drama and whatnot and don't really care as much (drug wise I mean). It's not fair but it is what it is unfortunately.

it really isn't fair. what happened to BI (Hanbin) from iKON is tragic....he did not deserve that type of treatment then again YG isn't that great of a company nor is the CEO himself...I like YG's artists but the company and person himself.....every company that produces idol celebs has their fair share of problems too though....that said knetz can be really vicious and cutthroat compared to more tolerant international fans. Unfortunately it is homebase so these celebs need to treat so so carefully.
