He's said before that everytime he dates they are always nice in the beginning- until they aren't anymore. Maybe he doesn't want to risk that happening. He likes how his master is now, and doesn't want that to change because of a shift in the dynamic between them. He may also have a low opinion of himself since- if he keeps ending up with people who use and abuse him- what does that say about him?!
Yeah I get it, I just feel sad to see Chanwoo in this constant pattern because he deserves much better. He helped Dong Gyun find love and was a great friend and so I just think Chanwoo should give in and be in love and be happy.
