Dude I feel the same. Paul is really bad as a father but then, that's how he is and always been, and I find it coherent with his character. Ever wondered why all his aquaintances only praise his talents but criticize his personality?
I was so waiting a follow up of the talk they had when Paul scolded Rudy when he met Sylphy. But then, and this made me really upset, we only got some remembrance of past life.
Like, dude! you're not that person anymore alright? why keep bringing that old persona up? If you need to associate your quarrel with past memories, you don't have to go that far, there was the perfect example when he went through the bully situation with Sylph, that would've been the ideal follow up to their relationship.
The fact that his old persona keeps appearing for some reason makes me think his persona as Rudeus is just a puppet controlled by his old persona's soul. It makes me upset when I think about it.
it look's like many viewer hate his father... well he really a shitty trash scumbag but still i though that it is really understandable to see him being mad and shout to his son
i mean everyone is confused, they're lost and probably in the verge of nowhere... not only that they're teleported to somewhere that they don't know maybe they not lucky enough to teleported to shitty and dangerous place like his son
but imagine u just chilling off with ur wife and ur daughter and suddenly you got transsfered into nowhere with only ur daughter... and after a long time u still didn't have any clue about wherebout ur wife and ur only hope is ur son
even i were in his shoe i got really mad and frustation... i too think that the way he shout and angry to his son is one of form that he was already in verge and really frustation about the situation
i too mad about how he act when he finally see his son but still it is really understandable after read the father pov
