There is a way to go around the Tower system - portals. Don't remember what it is needed to open a portal though.

i thought he can't leave that level in the tower or it'd be like...forfeit?? so how can he go visit them....or am i...getting this all wrong, lol. can he just come and go as he pleases? (thinking back to all those people who came to spy/kill him, that must be the case but I guess I figured they weren't in the middle of that stage trial so it was ok??? big confused.)
