Ok i don’t think incest was accepted. The pharaons did that to keep the bloodline pure, but they were considered to be gods and gods don’t obey to human laws. Incest is frown upon because of the genetic issues it causes on offsprings. Just like before marrying your first cousin was common but now it makes people cringe ?
