I think it was more of a way for Boris to prove to Sehyun that he is worthy of being loved and made love to like a proper human being and not just some hole with two legs...
It must be hard to have any kind of self worth after being treated that way since young adulthood.
I also think that this marked the moment of Sehyung deciding to let Boris help him and cling to the tiny bit of hope that things might get better no matter how terrifying the idea might be. Though that is just a speculation on my side as of now heh~
