I have a theory but imma give a spoiler warning just encase I'm right since I haven't looked at the raws!
I think professor jen the one that asked him to spy is the person he wanted him to spy on! Idk why I think this I just feel that way! :v like I feel like he didn't know how to go about his feelings (because hes the type that likes to torture the one he likes) so he set all this up to mess with him because he liked him. If anyone read the spoilers please tell me if I'm right!
