To be honest...I'm scared of the unknown

[Ignore This!] (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
I got into a fight with a certain bird who stated that people who commit suicide are WEAK. But I am totally against that idea. Personally, I can't just compare people's pain, the level (of pain) they went through and how they handle their pain. Since I personally haven't ventured that far in my life to comprehend that mentality or experience that much pain. (So I'm no expert, so technically I have no right to talk about it) However, from what I see in this girl's life (if possible!) why can't she just run away? (Are they going to hunt her, since she's a runaway slave? )

Overall, I just really don't want people (i meant, me) to choose death over life, since death ends and you (I) can still try to change (my) life. But that's just MY opinion. I might be wrong and maybe life is worst than death.

But I don't know what goes beyond death.
(⊙…⊙ )
I'm scared of the unknown.

I even read the comments before I read a manga, or read ahead so I don't feel scared.

Overall, I'm a pussy. ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄

So does that mean people (meaning, me) are WEAK for not choosing death??

Choosing Death VS Scared of Death??

[Just Shower thoughts...please don't hate me]

Why hate when this is completely plausible? I can totally understand where you are coming from.

In all aspects, I do agree with you on the running away bit. And it is okay to be scared of the unknown. I think that I should be doing your method more often (if reading comments) because of what sort of situations I find myself in the story.

No one is gonna hate you for expressing your thoughts and worries. It gives people who are similar hope and those who don’t understand a different side of the spectrum. And it also reveals a hidden side that we all may keep inside of us.

    So thank you shower thoughts

I guess running away is not an option for her. in that time period your family is the main determiner on how far you'll go in life. setting you up to a good marriage partner means having a good life. A life free of hardship as well as being clothed and fed. She couldn't run away because she literally cannot survive on her own. I mean im basing this on the context of her era/ time period. Women cannot make decisions, or be in education, or other form of income generating business. Without her family's support (or husband) she literally wouldn't have any means to support herself. Even if she did run away she could be kidnapped and sold to a brothel which at that time means your life technically ended ( you cant find a good husband etc plus societal stigma).

also its a good habit too speak your thoughts, listen, and reflect. Good job for trying to think for yourself because that's how you develop critical thinking! i don't know you personally but i would give you a virtual high-five for being humble enough to ask questions and engage in a civil conversation (not a lot of people can do that lol)
