Well yeah lol but remember that momo's entire life was engulfed in sexual activities so personally I'm not surprised he considers a hand job something trivial. He didn't even value his own body. Momo's lover (whose name I already forgot - good job headass me) probably understood that & hence didn't prolong the situation.
Ah I know that and I don't like how he uses forceful sex or humiliation as punishment bc that doesn't properly explain the situation why in normal terms that would be wrong. :/ I have not reached his past yet although I've read what happens and i'm kind of scared too.
Also upon continuing to read it all Yata does is force sex on him and he doesn’t stop when Momo is tired or says no like they might as well just be fuck buddies
IKR. Like that's pretty much the only thing that actually got me heated about their relationship. I do believe love is there and they both genuinely care about each other; sex friends wouldn't go as far as they did when it came to getting personally involved, but yata's horny meter breaking every damn minute is toxic. He feels like a different person when they're doing it - literally only listens through his dick. Are his ears for decoration? He's really not aware of how taxing sex can be if overdone, even though he's seen momo's state afterwards. I would've felt better if he took care of momo after doing it - like cleaning him, giving him massages, etc.. but girl... I don't remember reading a scene like that. Communicate with your mouth not your dick im?? Then again, people have different sex drives due to their own hereditary nature. Suppressing them (I think the manga did mention he was never able to date/relieve himself properly because of his behavior during sex so he went on runs instead) for such a long time would naturally lead to an explosion. What I don't understand is how he explodes every goddamn day. God have mercy on momo's ass. Well, Harada's style is pretty toxic itself - some people were even shocked this had a happy ending.
I really reallyyyy adored Harada’s other works but this ones making me ::://// I don’t reallt like the characters as much and I think characterization is a big part in fiction especially in Harada’s works bc you see the grim and raw emotion in human nature. I know there’s suppose to be a realistic take on them and I appreciate how Momo broke down about being sexually assaulted and his mother leaving him but when he shifted into normal lust mode at he speed of light I was like,,,,, ???? Is this suppose to be funny LMAO like I thought Harada was trying to portray how impactful trauma can be. Returning to the characters, I would’ve appreciated Yata more as this tough exterior but soft on the inside and supportive partner and Momo as the guy who laughs everything off although is hurting and supressing everything inside but the manga isn’t really taking the time to show those charms idkkskfkskfmdl Ahh I really appreciate your responses on this )): I’m not even finished with it yet but thank you for hearing me out love <3
