i think what they lack is communication. aseph is obviously possesive, but he wants to understand zay although her opinion doesnt matter to him, as he would keep her with him even if she doesnt want him. thats why fl wants to stay, but she doesnt want to hurt him, afraid that if he will know about the seal he wont believe her that she loves him. she said she didnt love him so he wont suffer more. the way their relationship will end is in zay's hands, and her choices. although, like most of the stories, it will probably, probably end well, we cant say.
what do y'all think about this relationship? do you find it toxic? Aseph's character obviously suffers from ptsd and is now depending on the FL to fulfill his needs. I personally want him to get better and hope they have a happy ending together, but is that just wishful thinking? whats your opinion? (=・ω・=)
