So the boy got saved by the army and eventually fought in it too, Now he is an old man. The house you see is the one he promised to live in with the little girl when they were talking about their future after he proposed to her.
The setting now is after so many years. This is what i think btw

Ok so I’m a bit confused let’s say the boy was what 9-10 yrs old and now he looks about like 40 ish so has the war passed?? If it did why was the couple/ sibling there I guess I assumed it was over (I googled how long war lasts it said 7-12 years so) If anyone wanna reply with some theories pls do!!
