I hope she will become more interesting than that because for now, she is a tiny bit irritating lol. How can she think she knows ain more than his own father when she just barely got to know him. I wouldn't call it a saviour complex, but she is basically in denial of any thing he could be but the innocent child she wants him to be and save. Of course it's the plot and I'm reading because I like the idea of her showing ain what motherly love is, but it feels superficial because of that so I'm anticipating when she realizes how he really is. And it seems she think she's still in the modern time... If she read the novel, she should have known in what times they are and how crucial not being vulnerable is. Yes, ain's cold personality comes from this horrible training so it's obviously not right, but the way she judges everything from her own point of view and hers only bothers me. Still, it managed to reach him a bit so that's that.

Lol same thoughts. I also had “savior complex” flash thru my mind the whole time. Ngl, it was a bit annoying. I agree she should’ve considered the timeline but there are people who aren’t as flexible in their principles. It’s hard to suddenly immediately change your the views you grew up in just because you were thrown in another era ( ̄— ̄"), i think?? Plus it can’t be helped since she’s got biased towards kids and has prolly only encountered pure, hearted ones so ╮( ̄^ ̄)╭
