Guess he was acting... trying to be cold to her when he was actually happy she can't use magic. and when she collapsed he couldn't take it anymore?......(trying to be mean I mean) Or maybe he was only nice to the first princess was because he didn't like her(and it was just his plan).... and since she can use magic would be mean she would be sent to the battlefield... ( I think)....... And he was probably happy the 2nd princess couldn't use magic since she won't be going anywhere dangerous...... Blahh I don't know ....
