i don’t know if it’d fit your criteria, but hibike! euphonium is about a concert band. it’s more focused on the mc, kumiko, and the band members’ relationships though iirc
This suddenly reminded me of the manga where the kid can read people's hearts and ends up as a music conductor for his schools band to make people's hearts happy

I think hibike! euphonium is the closest fit at this point. I’m really hoping for marching band in the future though! I’m convinced it’d be really freaking cool!
So maybe not many people even really know or care, but on the off chance someone does, is there or has there ever been a manga about competitive marching band? I’ve seen a lot of cool sports/competitive series that are really good (Ballroom Dancing, Skating, Basketball, Ping Pong, etc) so as a big band nerd I was curious if something like marching band has ever been done. I’ve seen Japanese marching band videos on YouTube, lol, so I think it’d be cool to see it animated as well. Thanks for any help!
