Same! At first I gave her the benefit of the doubt because she is bringing 20th century ideals into this dated time period and trying to run with it...but she literally read the entire book about this world and KNOWS how the characters are but seems to be in denial. Also, she's totally clueless about the world as a whole. She hasn't learned about how to manage the house, she hasn't gone outside the castle, and she just dotes on Ain religiously thinking she can change him. PFFT, good luck.
So far i don’t really like the FL lead that much TBH. Like she really isn’t seeing the bigger picture sort of. Idek it’s hard to explain but she kinda frustrates me. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
