And by portrayed, I mean shown as the villain of the series when he is the only one not requesting inhumane experiments on people, and also the only one out of the 3 eternal beings that lost a dear friend for no reason.

I totally get you, that makes me so sad. He's acting irrational and selfish right now, but man, he lost someone really precious for him so that's understandable.. im crying
I feel so sorry for Gabriel still and considering the way he is being portrayed rn I highly doubt he is gonna get a happy ending and that's pretty sad.
