I’m pretty sure it’s gonna affect him in the sense that the last like he really liked someone, they ended up leaving him and it hurt him a lot. So he’s probably scared to like anyone at all, even if dongho clearly likes him back. Jaehwa just doesn’t wanna get hurt. I’m guess that’s the route the creator is gonna take, but I’m not completely sure cause I can’t read the text for the raws
Jaehwan was hung up on his sunbae for quite a long time. His situation was kinda similar to Donghos cause the dude also ran away from him to the army. They kept growing apart despite everything and it's just the case of Jaehwan being emotionally exhausted by all this so he gave up on romance/feelings in general.
