I mean it was easier to relate to it than other yaoi which usually include either a) hot rich seme or uke. b) abused/ tragic uke. c) omegaverse. d) bratty or bitchy uke. And e) the celebrity uke/seme. They all have more unrelatable problems for the majority of us. So twas refreshing to see someone with problems that we could have.
