lemme clarify bc some of y'all rly do be forgetting:
jihyun is a horrible person all around. i personally believe that he didn't love chiwoo but he loved the idea of him. he loved that there was someone who was willing to be there even through all his faults. in turn i think that chiwoo had such a strong platonic love for jihyun because deep down he saw a boy that was struggling and just wanted love.
their relationship was strictly platonic with ONE SIDED romance. chiwoo was NEVER interested in jihyun romantically, EVER. so everyone spewing some "if only jihyun wasn't crazy" bullshit can MOVE ALONG!!
chiwoo has always held jihyun close to his heart but personally i believe the act that tore their messed up friendship apart for good was when jihyun forced himself onto chiwoo. chiwoo was willing to forgive jihyun for hurting other people, because he promised not to do it again countless times (that liar), but jiyhun completely SHATTERED chiwoo's trust when he forced him.
so i just want to clarify that jihyun is such an awful character and the reason i want everyone to stop calling him a "mistunderstood poor kid" is because there are men out there in the world who are exactly like this. this type of behavior is NEVER okay take care of yourselves.
