It hurt my poor little heart tho. Falling in love with someone whose in love with another person that’s not only using them but you saw them have sex. I could never. I’d rather find someone else then go through that pain.

Right!! I even hurt my own heart after having to read what I had said before in order to reply to you. Doesn’t that happen to everyone forgetting what you were talking about and having to remember by reading what you had said before. Sorry for my rambling but yeah I just caused my own pain by focusing on the negatives. (Basically my entire life summed up in one sentence)
I like this manga. I can't explain it, but characters don't have to be likeable to be realistic. Humans can be ugly. Yuugi was foolish, Mio was disgustingly opportunistic. And together they were a mess of confusion and unhealthy infatuation.
And sometimes that's how it is. A wonderful piece of work.
