I would have liked it if Daniel had some sort of redemption but he seems to have narcissistic tendencies. That scene where Daniel said “you’ll take me back because you love me” was fucked up. I don’t want all that lovey-dovey stuff like you assume, I just want good people, not manipulators.
Daniel was toxic. Pure toxicity and he didn't change one bit at the end.

Also (to the OG)I’ve read some toxic shit like crazy psychological yaoi with very manipulative and abusive people and absolutely love the manga but I didn’t like this. Other manga present it in a more appealing way, while this just straight out gives shitty (personality wise) characters with no charisma to them. Compared to other manga that make me think “oh I hate this character but I don’t HATE them” unlike this one where it’s just flat out “he’s a jerk and there’s nothing good about him from beginning to end”
it's okay, I respect your opinion. For me was different, that's why I liked it as a story, I've been reading lately too much cliche and to read this was a refreshing thing for me lol I get why people don't like it though!
ye ye I totally get you, I've read some twisted stories as well and I loved some of them like (Niichan by Harada or Itou-san by Kuraka sui or the other one by Nekota:Hidoku shinaide I think? this was pretty toxic at the beginning )I think the characters on this manga are totally jerks as well however I like that they act like in a realistic way? not like some mangas out there with the confused feelings or trauma or whaterver. You're free to hate it of course. My point was that I liked it, not because of the good characters but because of the plot:It was new, interesting, Different. That it. It's just fantasy by the way, don't take it too seriously.

I found it fresh and new. I do love this.
Some people need to be more open minded about this kind of stories. Not all BLs are lovey dovey and it's okay. I like the fact that it was not predictable and the characters were pretty decent in my opinion but not at the point of being obnoxious. I like how they behave, it was pretty realistic and also, I liked the dad character so much he needs a spin-off so bad!!!!!
