That has me a bit confused as well because they act as if Hen and Alec never really had a relationship so what about their scenes together??

Well since the begining, the 2 foreplay scenes between Alec and Hyun seems to be Hyun’s imagination. MANY things pointed in that direction.

For example, why would Hyun out of the blue, have sex with Ivan and then go to Alec(with still the sperm inside). Also the fact Alec was still waiting for Hyun to visit his hotel room(even though they had one foreplay scene after Alec invited him).
Also Ivan said : we haven’t had time together since the xx island(at Hyun’s parents). And we did see them having sex after the xx island and before Ivan said that. But the sex scene we saw (right before Alek x Hyun’s 2nd foreplay) was probably part of the imagination

And other stuff that implied Hyun never went further than handjob with Alek.(like here)

Also Alek mentionned that Hyun will imagine having sex with the snake tribe due to his mark when he smell their scent (or something close to that)

BUUUUUT Hyun told his friend he was sleeping with 2 men. Alec said Hyun had more than one partner. And Hyun also had a bubble thought : we aren’t sleeping together or anything so what are we ? (Implying they had something before)

It’s very confusing. I do believe it never happened and the misunderstanding is caused by a wrong translation. But i can’t be 100% sure and the author should make it clear.

Thanks!! I think for me, it'd make a bit more sense if the foreplay scenes with Alec are Hen's imagination. But if the scenes are imaginary, it'd be nice if they were obvious for the reader cause otherwise the plot becomes confusing
