I agree it also makes no sense when you look at Mia's back story. She was in a relationship where her boyfriend cheated with a trusted friend and she ended up in this world. Where she meets a kind Empress who helps her, and she is aware that the Emperor has a wife. And then what? Suddenly (!) she decides to pursue a married man?? This isn't a boyfriend, its a married, committed man? It makes her backstory so lackluster. The author could of made it ANYTHING, literally any bloody backstory, yet chose the girl who experienced a bitter lovers betrayal to choose to be the very side woman role she originally felt heartbroken over? I struggle to see the sense in that, is all （￣へ￣）

Hmm well from where I'm standing honestly speaking it is common for women who has been betrayed by their spouse in the form of adultery to also end up becoming an adulterer themselves. If we look at it from this point of view, at first she was simply in amor with the love the emperor has for the empress so she was genuinely trying to help them. She sees that love he has for her and thinks about her tragic love and because she wishes he ex was like the emperor she can't help but watch over the emperor and give him advice. Now as she stays by his side advising him she can't help but admire him even more. Then a small part of her subconsciously wishes that it was her he love at least thats when she realizes she loves him. Then while she is struggling with this feeling she hears about the legend that they should both be together. She already wants him and hell they even have a legend about it so why not? Humans are selfish by nature she feels as if though he is rightfully hers so she goes and fuxk shit up.

Sooo after reading here in the comments that Mia is a huge fucking bitch I'm so sad. This chapter could have been the reality;_; woman don't have to fight over man. It doesn't need to be the source of their conflit;_;
Honestly this chapter proves that Mia could have been a great aid to the emperor, let him evolve as a husband and lover and all of it as friend. I would have loved it if all of the three were besties.
