I agree w/ this!! Mother might know how he turns out in the future, but she has no way of knowing that hes already kind of twisted. In this timeline, she hasn't done anything to hurt him, so theres no reason for him to be psycho from her perspective. She just sees him as an innocent and cute lil bb

Sure I can see how the FL’s personality and overprotectiveness might be annoying, but at the same time she literally has no idea how the kid’s really like. We only know how he really is because we’re readers who see everything that’s going on, so it’s kinda dumb how people think that the mother is too naive or trusting because the kid has always put on an innocent mask only in front of her. Honestly if I were in her position, I would also act the same, lol ain is just too cute (even if it’s all an act). Now if we were never shown how the kids true personality is like, then I bet a lot of people would never have made a comment about the mother and would agree with her.
