subtitles maybe
They usually have glasses that have subtitles that are really really really hard to use because they have to keep there head at a certain angle the whole movie without moving. So generally they don’t go unless there’s subtitles. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

So i guess the mahnwa here was inaccurate...
Yohan can read lips so maybe he was fine...
They did mention it was a foreign film, it was probably in a different language to begin with, and normally in that case it would generally have subtitles.

Go Yo does say ‘he’s glad it’s a foreign film’ and then later has a thought (because he’s so tall) ‘that he is glad no one is sitting behind them, he’d feel bad if they couldn’t see the subtitles’.
We are so used to the mahnwa now...that I sometimes forget that Yohan is deaf...especially when they are having sex.
Anyhow...I might sound ignorant, but the movie scene made me wonder how deaf people enjoy movies at theaters....(￣∇￣")
