Currently he really doesn’t care about *her* but the things that help the house. I mean it gets better in the future, as things get better over time, but that doesn’t mean they won’t kill her at any moment if she embarrasses their house or name again. This is how I see it, and I don’t think there are spoilers
That 2nd brother probably wouldn’t even have cared if penelope had acted the way she was like last time. What makes me dislike him is that he didn’t tell think properly before acting out. He’s actually alright if we’re talking about him treating another person but it just makes me feel sick that he’s trying to put the blame on Penelope even though deep down he knows its not Penelope fault.
