i'm with you. There is something intriguing about inner palace dramas and stories. It takes a lot of strength to survive and seeing the women who survive it, have the respect of the emperor, the love that transcends just lust and the title of a true lifelong campanion; it gets me. I'm not for polygamy either (I don't like harem stories) but that's not what these types of stories are about. It's unfortunate people are close minded in regards to that.
