RIGHT?!?!? Rape is very traumatizing for the victims, yet these stories just act it off as if it was nothing! I do wish that one day authors would consider the aftermaths of rape and how it effects a person mentally.
Exactly! I haven’t seen a single yaoi where rape occurs and the character is even somewhat traumatized by the entire experience, but somehow falls deeply in love with the seme like what kind of fuckery is that?!! Also, I feel some authors purely just want to throw sex scenes at their readers no matter how they come and it’s truly disappointing that a good lot choose to go about this way of giving it. Bro, I for one am joining it. It’s a story with rape themes, and there are people that enjoy these stories, or at least don’t let it get to them like others. If you don’t like it, as people have said 100 times on this site, just don’t read it. Man, we all know this is a thing in yaoi. But you have the option of choice. It's not that we don't enjoy it. Never said that we didn't. We're just reminding ppl that rape isn't something casual like this and not be used to it. We're not spreading hate but awareness, about how traumatizing a rape can be.

Blaming readers for trying to engage in a new story, likely not even expecting this rape crap, is a really invalid point to make. I hardly read tags and when I do it’s because I actually picked them on my own. I see yaoi, I click. Once I get into the story and see that it’s story and shit THEN I decide to jump tf out. As u said already, I couldn’t care any fucking less if you find rape hot, but not do you have issues going on up there to enjoy this.

You see yaoi and you click. Then how is that anyone’s fault but your own. And I’m not sure whether “finding rape hot” is the right way to call it. More like, a seme bullying, asserting dominance, and abusing the Uke, yes, if done right, can be some smoking hot stuff. I’ve read yaoi for years, that normal fluff shit doesn’t do anything for me anymore. Only a couple, now and then, are good. Not enough twisted yaoi out there, that appeal to my tastes. Also, I never said rape was hot. The story is hot, the act of the seme bullying and corner the uke into a corner is hot. If I went and watched porn with a rape theme, you think I could stomach that...? Then again, it is porn... but well, that ain’t my shit man. It’s the story! I like the story.

Also, I never said u called it hot, that was literally a general statement because I saw a comment that DID call it hot and tried to normalize that rape is always found in yaoi. You can like what you want, but when it borders into something like rape, that’s a problem. Because these those kind of stories shouldn’t really even be a category of interest that should exist for anyone, but unfortunately it does. And to address your comment about how stories pertaining to rape shouldn’t exist in any category, I disagree with that. The world isn’t a positive place, and there’s a lot of darkest lurking in every single corner. Bad things happen, and people use stories and songs blah blah blah, to express these things. I’m not gonna lie, the rape/non consensual elements are in a bunch of yaoi (some that I’m reading as well) and it’s really disturbing to think some believe it’s “yaoi culture”. Reading those particular kind of scenes make me downright uncomfortable and just wish I could take over the entire script *sigh* U get my point. Rape isn’t okay in any shape or form and it sure as shit isn’t “sexy” or “hot” and if you think it is, seriously take some time from yaoi (in general) and reevaluate your morals.
