She's from Japan, in Japan people can consider it insulting to be thanked for doing their job, even if her job in that world is to care for the holy dragon, not nessacarlly all dragons, she could still find it weird to be thanked for something thats similar enough to both her job in her world and in their world

I kinda get annoyed by fl's 'kindness'.. she literally helped them to solve karen's problem but she's too kind to just accept their word 'thanks'.. wtf she could've ask for reward..
