That's a shame. They had the opportunity to make a perfectly fine and refreshing "girl friendship over dudes" story, but decided to pull the "sly catty enemies" trope instead. ML is truly not worth it.

Mia was actually feeling guilty for having bad thoughts against Leana but well she really likes the ML and she does not like being ignored and i think, the ML' brother also contributes to why she became bad? I guess. He was telling her stuff.

Ohhhh you're going to hate Mia in the upcoming chapters.
So basically, she developed a crush on the ML. She's becoming annoying, like suddenly popping in his office without knocking or sumtng. She thought the Prince might feel the same since he asked her to stay but it was just because he wanted some more advice on how to be an ideal husband for Leana. So she's heartbroken and was crying. The brother(yellow haired guy/General) is the antagonist (i had a feeling) so he feeds Mia's brain the story or the prophecy and wants to work with her against Leana and maybe the Prince(not sure) but yea he implants ideas on her head that she's the rightful owner of the empress' seat.
Also Terrier(the green haired dude) i think he somehow got the feeling that Mia likes the Prince.
Leana, still trying to follow the novel and wants to create an opening for the ML and Mia. The thing is the ML is in love with Leana and just doesn't give a fck about Mia, like in the preparation for the banquet, ML was supposed to be busy choosing a dress for Mia(according to the novel) but instead he snobs Mia and let the maid help her. He was very busy choosing something for Leana and wants the best dress for her, he was so invested in the dress that he cannot choose because he outright told the designer that Leana's beauty doesn't match any dress, like she's more beautiful than anything or anyone kyaaaaa. Mia keeps on giving Leana the side eye bitch glances so yea.
I actually am annoyed with Mia. She's a bitch. Idc hahaha
