I felt sympathetic towards Shunya in a way. They're dealing with a lot of demons. With the few background details we learn about him it seems like he probably admired Kojima just like Ryosuke did but the horrible things that happened to him made his admiration turn into obsession.
This is a very likely story for a lot of obsessive fans. All I can do is just hope that they receive proper mental health assistance and get to a better place :(
