With everything that went down in the first volume this turn of events is so stupid to me. Cole has a shit ton of psychological problems that need to be dealt with professionally, but this? So basically he's just the type to latch on to any hot guy? He didn't pull that I'm gonna kill you then kill myself bullshit on Alex just so the mangaka can turn him into a cheater. He was the one that was pissed thinking Alex cheated on him (enough to pull a gun on him) with Lily but now this happens? Why even make a continuation if this was gonna be the storyline for it. I hope Alex just moves on and gets his life back, don't care for this Brad dude and Cole... he's fucked up but he genuinely needs help too. This is one time where I can truly say I don't know what the ending will be. Not sure I even want to know.
A second volume that consisted of their relationship progressing and Alex encouraging Cole to seek help professionally would've been a million times better. A continuation of a couple's story doesn't always have to be riddled with horrible situations, especially a new love interest, just for dramatic effect.
