Time has passed by, and I do not think that he had healed but what is he supposed to do ? Stay home all day and pity himself ? The only way to get better is to try to get better, to want to

of course not but theres a fat difference between trying to recover by going out or having a positive mindset and going straight to the exact source of your misery (which mcqueen is), he was suicidal and wants to go back to him, thats just messed up

Well, between the break up and the time where he go back to Mcqueen some times have passed by (like weeks or months since he found a new job and all, so maybe more months), also Ed blamed McQueen for the situation he was in (with the fact that it was revealed that he was a porn actor and all), but in those months apart from McQueen he had the time to think again about everything without the "shock", and yes he was at the worst since he had no money, and he just didn't find a way out, so he was depressed but sometimes you want to die one day and the one after you realize that you can live on, and you begin to think that you are going to be okay

And sometimes, the person that hurt you the most is also the person that can help you the most, and with time passing by he realised that he still loved him no matter what, and yeah it is a little bit messed up but I mean everything isn't perfect in life

Also I think that the source of his misery is more Chang than McQueen

Entre la rupture et le moment où ils se sont retrouvés du temps a passé, probablement même des mois sont passés, et Ed en a voulu à McQueen à cause du fait que son travail en temps qu'acteur pornographique a été révélé, hors il a eu du temps pour regarder cette situation, sa situation, avec plus de distance lors de ces mois, et il s'est rendu compte qu'ils avaient tout deux des torts et qu'il avait été injuste avec McQueen, que ce qui l'avait fait se sentir aussi misérable n'était pas plus McQueen que ses propres choix (mon avis)

Et quelques fois, par moments tu te sens déprimé, tu as l'impression que la seule façon d'en finir c'est mourir, et puis le jour suivant tu te rends compte qu'il y a d'autres moyens car il y a toujours d'autres moyens, et tu te rends compte que tu peux aller mieux, et je pense que Ed aurait pu pardonner McQueen directement si Chang n'était pas arrivé et ne l'avait pas violé entre temps, car il avait déjà eu le temps d'être en paix avec sa situation

Aussi, parfois la personne qui te blesse le plus est aussi la personne qui peut te donner le plus grand réconfort, et Ed s'est rendu compte qu'il aimait toujours McQueen peu importe ce qui s'était passé entre eux, et oui c'est un peu perturbant mais c'est juste comme la vie est

Et je pense que la source du malheur d'Ed est plus Chang que McQueen en fin de compte

tbh I know love makes no sense and anyone who has experienced it can agree to that but the thing is I dont see love at all between ed and glenn, only a strong physical attraction
why I think that? well the lack of dates, whenever theyre alone they only have sex, ed fell in love after they filmed a porno and a lot more stuff
but what pretty much sold me the idea of "ed doesnt actually love glenn" is that ed never told him about the debt, that was a m a s s i v e redflag, the debt is pretty much the centerpoint of this story and the fact that ed didnt trust mcqueen enough to speak about it speaks volumes, they havent been dating for 2 days its been a while and its not like the debt is something private that hes trying to hide, his friends (derek and youyu) knew about it but he didnt tell his lover? yeah, nah, this aint it

and nah, glenn actually broke him, after chang raped him ed tried to get back at him told him "I want to make you miserable too" even if he was also hurt bc of mcqueen he still had strength to face chang so idk about you but to me: what mcqueen did>>>what chang did
