Right? I mean, he is being manipulated by a vampire, he was raped, he saw death of his friend as a child (not really, apparently, but he believed so) and now he's just trying his best to protect the person that he loves. What's wrong or annoying in that?
I mean, wouldn't it be understandable that he's the weakest? He's just a priest that didn't know anything that went on until he met Paulo. Paulo is a vampire so he's strong, which is obvious, Sailou knew that something's on since long ago and he actually has some powers, and then there are those hunters that probably have some experience dealing with stuff like this.
Despite the situation and his weakness, I think Gabriel is doing actually better than most of the usual protagonists?
I find him really cute and feisty, not sure why people would think he is weak. He is a normal human (wolf but repressed memories) going against powerful supernatural beings. Like what do yoh want him to do
Why do people not like Gabriel or find him annoying? I find him a victim of circumstance...
